William Garvey, Maker of bespoke furniture, was Established 1971. The company specialises in innovative project work and is able to realise original design ideas.
In addition, William Garvey offers a range of wet area products including wooden baths and basins and wooden showers and accessories.
The baths, basins and shower trays are made from teak. This wood is ideally suited to modern engineering techniques and contemporary design ideas and is renowned for its suitability for wet environments.
William Garvey sources the teak from the Myanmar region in South Asia where the trees are harvested using environmentally sustainable methods.
Produced in the company's extensive workshop, to extremely high standards of design and manufacture, William Garvey's range includes the Geo, Helio and Fusion styling.
Geo - baths and basins
Based on the Japanese ofuro - a traditional design of bath used for a long soak. The baths are made from teak, a 'warm to the touch' material which helps to keep the water hot over a long period of time. Two design versions of the Geo bath are available - 'standard' and 'deep.'
Geo basins can be cantilevered off a wall or placed on a countertop or washstand.Helio - baths and basins
The circular Helio bath is an absolutely stunning design. Each one is a considerable feat of timber engineering and the specification is unique to the individual customer.
The Helio basin complements the shape of the bath and can be used either free standing or as part of the Fusion basin.Fusion – basins
Fusion basins combine the styling of the Geo and Helio ranges creating attractive floor standing basins. These can be made as single, double and triple basins. Cupboards or drawers can be built into the space underneath the basins.Showers and accessories
The wooden shower trays, made from interlocking teak lattice, provide an effective non-slip surface. These can be specially made to fit specific spaces in bath and shower rooms.
Accessories, for example toilet seats, are available and can be made to bespoke dimensions.
