Cafe Hampstead - The Buttery

The Buttery garden cafe at Burgh House is a wonderful addition to Hampstead Village – a licensed outdoor garden café, in a truly picturesque setting, offering excellent home-cooked food created from fresh, seasonal - locally sourced ingredients.

We are pleased to announce an exciting new menu and extended opening hours. The interior is newly refurbished creating a warm, comfortable and contemporary dining area – perfect for a casual lunch or tea and cake with friends and family.

Leafi Kitchens and Event Catering have been operating since 2007. In addition to events management, we now manage the Buttery Café - at Burgh House in Hampstead, and the Clifton Kitchen - at Clifton Nurseries in Maida Vale.

Excellent seasonl cooking is at the heart of everything we do. Our speciality is real home cooked food using the finest locally sourced produce. It is quality seasonal ingredients that define the finest dishes and for this reason we have partnered with Pure Fruit and Barrett's the Butchers two of the best purveyors of fresh food in Hampstead.

The Buttery, Burgh House, is open for breakfast, lunch (with special Sunday Lunch Menu) and afternoon teas and offers an informal waiter service menu of traditional British and popular European dishes. All food is home-cooked at the Buttery - including our delicious range of homemade jams, chutneys and cakes.

Our sensible pricing policy allows frequent ‘treat’ visits to the café; perfect for impromptu dining-out and for meeting friends for coffee.

The café provides an extremely comfortable indoor dining area and an attractive outdoor seating area - perfect for sunny days, all year round.
