Jane Brown has been gaining an international reputation since her debut collection for Autumn/Winter 1997. Discovered by Dawn Mello, then President of Bergdorf Goodman, New York, BROWN received outstanding acclaim for her shoe designs in the USA, Europe and Japan. She has built an impressive list of some of the world's best accounts. Scottish born, inspired at childhood in Singapore, where all her shoes were handmade, Jane Brown was a prize-winning student at Cordwainers College, London. Supplementing her training by learning last making at John Lobb Bootmakers in St James', Brown initially made by hand her own designs for a bespoke client list in London. Now working with Italian manufacturers, Jane Brown's designs can reach a far wider audience. Her collections are noted for their unique styling, colour/material combination and comfort.
