Our comprehensively stocked showroom has a large display of modern and antique fireplaces. Our range includes fire surrounds in wood, stone, iron and marble. We stock fires by leading manufacturers such as Dimplex, Goppa, Kingsdale and Stovax. All our products are made to the highest standard of quality in our own workshops by British craftsman.

Indoor and Outdoor Fireplaces for Gardens and Patios : Our range of indoor and outdoor fireplaces are ideal for the garden and patio and conservatory areas. Or for indoor use in large, well ventilated rooms without a flue (we can advise you on suitability). For use with new, non-toxic burning Gel, available in Stone - Steel

Slate and Granite Fire Baskets and Fire Dogs: We supply stone and granite fire baskets, which can be made to measure, some stone, slate and granite baskets can be converted for use with LPG (Bottled Gas). We offer you the option of polished steel and satin black on both our steel frames and baskets. These fires are suitable for solid fuel or gas.

Advice, design and fitting service: We can advise you on all fitting and safety requirements. We have a comprehensive design service for bespoke work and can provide a full supply and fit service on all our products.

Hand crafted from only the finest natural stone, a Jean Barrie fireplace provides a modern and stylish centrepiece for any room. All of our fireplaces can be used in various ways - gas, electric, gel, candles, display and some for solid fuel.Jean Barrie contemporary design was established in 1999 working from a small design studio in North London. Jean Barrie uses his experience of interior and exterior design to create, well-proportioned minimal designs at affordable prices. The Jean Barrie designs are all unique, created in the natural stone and are protected by A.C.I.D (anti copyright in design).

Jean Barrie works mainly in limestone, greenstone, slate & granite. Bespoke work can be carried out and customers own ideas are always welcome. Our hole in the wall fireplace designs are made to measure bespoke designs in a range of natural stone materials.We supply three types of gas fire.

The manual turn dial control, the wall switch control and the full remote control. A range of pebbles is available or also driftwood coal, shells, starfish.

Gel fires are available and work rather like a giant candle. The Gel Fire is non-toxic and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor uses. Gel is ideal for those without a flue.
