To mark the changing of the seasons, this week, The Commander launched their new dinner menu and cocktail menu. New cocktail creations include Shiraz Negroni, made with Martin Millers Westbourne Strength gin, Martini Rosso, Campari, Shiraz and Angostura. Or try the Oaked Kracken cup for 2 – a heady mix of Kraken rum, lemon peel, sugar, Cognac, Maraschino liqueur, Bacardi Oakheart, syrup, lemon juice, soda and Champagne. Or the delectable Rose petal and Lychee Martini anyone?
Highlights from the brand new dinner menu include the Bavette with truffled parsnips, chicken and foie gras brulee, Crispy duck confit, Smoked haddock fish cake with poached egg and a delicious Sweet Potato and ginger torte.
The Commander also caters for Private Dining – in its exclusive private hire rooms upstairs. As always everything is made freshly using only the best ingredients. The kitchen is open all day from 12 noon until 10pm with an excellent roast on a Sunday.
