Marie Claire is one of the few beauty salons in Amsterdam offering a sugar waxing service. This ancient technique was used by the Egyptians over 2000 years ago, using only natural ingredients - sugar, water and lemon juice, it is said that this method is less painful and less harsh for the skin than some other waxing methods. The principle being that the sugar wax only adheres to the hair and not the skin.

Marie Claire offers a range of sugar waxing services including back, chest, full leg, leg and bikini line, underarm, facial and top lip, bikini line.

Harsen: we harsen met pure suikerhars op basis van suikerwater en citroensap zoals Cleopatra het 2000 jaar geleden al deed. De voordelen van suikerhars: minder pijnlijk en zeer huidvriendelijk. De haartjes blijven langer weg en worden pluiziger en zachter.
