21st Century Village is your virtual gateway to the most exciting places to shop, currently featuring London and Amsterdam. We understand the urge to shop for something different, to explore the diversity our cities have to offer.

That's why 21st Century Village provides you with an alternative to the generic high street shopping experience. Chain stores and department stores are not our focus. We tend to feature independent fashion boutiques, designers, designer accessories, interior design & furniture specialist, art galleries, vintage specialists and more.

Our featured shops and specialist businesses are often located in charming villages. Our unique illustrated maps are hand drawn and allow you to take virtual tours. Wherever possible, we also provide local information (a type of city guide) about interesting things to do and see in the various villages.

Each of our featured shops has its own dedicated information page, with detailed information on the services offered, brands and designers, opening hours and full contact details.

21st Century Village began with London villages in 2002. We added our Amsterdam villages in 2003. We are constantly adding new content and new features. We continue to work hard to bring you more exciting cities, more villages and, most importantly, more terrific places to shop!
